Efren N. Padilla, Ph.D.
Dr. Efren N. Padilla is a full professor in the Department of Sociology & Social Services and the executive director of the Center for Filipino Studies at California State University, East Bay.
Dr. Singson completed his doctoral studies at the University of Washington, Seattle, and joined the faculty of the College of Business and Economics at California State University, East Bay in September 1971. Together with Dean Alan Smith, NVM Gonzalez, and Dr. Efren Padilla, Dr. Singson co-founded the Center for Filipino Studies and served as its first Director.
Gemma Nemenzo is Managing Editor and columnist of Filipinas, the only monthly glossy magazine for the Filipino American community circulated in all 50 U.S. states. She is a journalism graduate of the University of the Philippines.
